Sunrise ultra portable DAC/AMP combo MODEL "RAY" is our entry level audio solution, which is a Self powered DAC and Hi-Definition headphone amplifier. As an entry level product, Ray is an inexpensive product but provide truly high quality audio solution. We choose the Wolfson 24bit Hi-performance DAC chip WM8740 and Texas Instruments’ PCM2706 as the USB receiver which were widely recognized in audiophile world. The AMP section is not like other entry level product that use cheap all-in-one headphone amplification IC, such as the TPA6130A. The AMP section in the "RAY" is based on the AD8656 and well tuned with some high quality audio capacitors in special circuit. “RAY" is super mini size with only 15mm thickness. Hard to believe but "RAY" will make your PC/Laptop sound like a full HIFI source.
